Status Updates From In the Blood (DI Lukas Mahler)

My first encounter with Kirk’s books but definitely an author I’ll be reading again. Disappointed I’ve read book 3 with not knowing there was two books that preceded it.

Loves the story line, loved the plot twists and it made for a gripping read, never truly knowing where the investigator word lead next or when the next body would turn up!

An interesting read, which moves between timelines, from present day to further back in the story. The way it is written is also interesting in that the present tense “he bristles”, “he says”
