Status Updates From Irish (Reed Security, #5)

This one is just too adorable. I’m smiling through most of it so far.

Still trying to settle on a book to keep on going with. This one takes place after Knight which I loved to pieces.

You always want what you read about more than what’s actually happening in real life.

“Sebastian was the same way with me. ‘Maggie, it’s not safe to do that’. ‘Maggie, you need to take it easy’. ‘Maggie, don’t throw that grenade’.”

“What happened to the Nazgûl?”
“The what?” he asked as if we hadn’t just talked about this or escaped their clutches.
“The ringwraiths,” I said in frustration. “You know, they were chasing us for the..horcruxes.”

Hunter grinned and tipped his head at Derek. I didn’t understand it. They had some weird man language that I just didn’t understand. I needed to get out more and maybe study them. Kind of like how scientists study apes.

So, Sean Donnelly- badass detective, was obviously in on it. Of course, it made sense. Didn’t all superheroes have someone in the department on their side? At least Batman did. It was the only thing that was making sense at this moment. No. Superheroes didn’t really exist. Geez, I had been watching too many Marvel movies.
