Status Updates From Elsewhere

This is wild: I’m only on chapter five but the similarities and vibe between this and the book I just finished an hour ago, Gwendy’s Button Box, are ludicrous! Completely unplanned; I had no idea what his book would be about, nor did I plan to start and finish GBB in the two days leading up to right now. Crazy!

This novel, which I'm reading hot on the heels of "The City" is such a relief and a great read after the tediousness and lack of momentum of the last novel. The story is rip-roaring from the get go, and unlike the difficulty I had of getting into The City, Elsewhere has been such a compelling read that I've almost finished it in just a few days...good one Mr Koontz, this is the sort of writing I love from you!
