Enjoying it so far, however, reading this book has made me realize that Montessori MIGHT be a little too rigid for my style. Perhaps the author will address it since it’s so early on, but there seems to be a lack of open-ended toys and, more importantly (dare I say the most important thing besides healthy attachment when it comes to child development), free-play. Free-play is backed by extensive research.
