I’m only about 7% in so far, but the setup is interesting. It’s a classic fantasy premise with a slightly heavier, more reflective tone than I expected. Too early to judge the plot, but the writing is solid and I’m curious to see where it goes.

There appears to be an error in the audiobook. A sentence begins, ends abruptly, there is a pregnant pause and then begins again and finishes

Now this could be just a storytelling, but it was an odd place for sense to stop. I do not have the physical book to check.
