Status Updates From The Dark Tide

The story is a bit rushed so far, some characters are flushed out so well some aren't. I love some underlying themes and Eva's point of view on the sacrifices, and the lore with the island and witches. Just feels a bit lacking

“There’s that old story,” said Eva, ignoring the question, “about the serpent and the dancers who tame them. It likes music. It likes you. Didn’t you see how playful it was with you in the sea cave?”
“It tried to eat me.”
“It does that.”
