Status Updates From Life After Love

I'm listening to the audiobook! It's a very quick read and I'm enjoying it so far :>

I'm still on this one but I honestly have no idea what's happening. It could be the narrator and the run-on sentences that makes it a bit hard to keep up or the fact that this is my very first venture into the magical-realism genre but I'm confused as hell. I picked this up because the blurb drew me in but boy.....I'm so shocked. I hope I can finish reading this weekend because I've got enough books in my backlog.

Ughhhh. This is sad

I am at like 60% of the book and Adam already died and was brought back to life twice and then Daniel died and was brought back to life and it just felt like lazy writing to me. There was friendship, paranormal romance, smut ( I didn't care about since I didn't care about the characters nor their romance), then black magic everything kinda started nothing actually explored more all in 40 pages. Its lazy and boring
