Lots of time skipping without a whole lot of substance in between. I've liked Declan in all the other books by this author I've seen him in. It was nice to see where he got his start as far as his career. As for him and Holden, it fell kind of flat for me.

For this to be a Daddy kink book, a majority of all sex scenes are off-page and only kinda/sorta mentioned in passing. So far, anyway. I've read this author before. I even recognize Declan's name and profession from her other books, as well as Kasper and a couple of other characters.

Unfortunately, I feel like I'm being TOLD a lot, not SHOWN a lot.
