Status Updates From Body of Stars

To be young is to be convinced of one’s immortality. There is nothing more certain to a young person than the statement “that won’t happen to me”. What’s frustrating is that Celeste should not have lied to her parents, attended the party or gone downtown. That said, she should be safe to walk around without the threat of violence.

I seriously do not remember buying this book. The synopsis is not something I would usually go for…maybe this was a thrift find?
