Holy crap I am crying so freaking hard! Only at 39%! Crying the whole time!

Oh Leta I'm so disappointed in that ending. I really wish you had chosen another direction, a direction away from typical romance tropes.

“Oh, God,” Cole says, and his voice is broken, devastated. His knees seem to give, because he’s in your arms, leaning against you, crying, and babbling incoherently— your name, and curses mostly, but also disbelief, and terrible hope.
“I thought I saw… I know what I saw. You died. Damon, you died.”

This book is a lot. It is so heavy and Leta is hitting everything beat she said she would. 💔😟
