paul narrates, which is a beautiful surprise! i love their voice—they’re (to me, anyway) really good at accents—and they can sing a little??? love that! wasn’t really sure how the book would handle dual protagonists across gens (bc this is what the synopsis gives) but so far it’s been mostly jesse so i’m assuming that norman may come back for the final part.

this book is making my stomach hurt🤍

intrigued. have very high hopes for this. really want to listen to the audiobook, i feel like that would be such a beautiful and immersive experience (granted it’s done correctly). alas, i am out of spotify hours and, when they’re replenished, i will be forced to choose between this and oathbound.
