This is so well written. Jamie's visit home to his family after many years away was perfect. It grounded him, Put his life in a context that gave it meaning. It was unrushed. It felt authentic. And it made it certain that he would cave when threatened.

We're entering the end game now. i have no idea how it will work out, eccept that it unlikely to be a happy ending.

Home is where they want you to stay longer.
