Recently I find I have trouble reading a Lucy Lennox. It starts off okay. A funny MC and the other also likeable. But then the further I get it starts to be. Either OTT or just too much. The funny starts to annoy or I'm just over the constant bumbling or something. The storyline is usually okay but I just can't get over the annoyances.
Skimmed through this one I'm afraid 😔

I hate when an author takes a beautifully written book and cuts in a bunch of "and then this happened and I felt stuff" rather than including the pertinent events as experiences!!!
