Status Updates From Daemon in Lithuania

Daemon filled the whole castle with the nostalgic aroma of the autumnal woods...Sometimes, when I was with her, I had the impression of sleeping on a bed of humus, of dead leaves, and her long hairs, which I caressed passionately, became those of all wild animals. She represented the sweet brutality of a certain world, the savage mystery of what takes place out there, behind the trees.

Read half the book last night and found myself laughing with no one around around midnight. Can't wait to finish this little gem.
