Dare is getting close to finding out who is behind the liquor poisonings at the resort while avoiding the predatory attentions of the female resort manager who is the daughter of a drug lord.

Dare the ATF agent has finished his course at the Kentucky facility run by the Davies brothers. Marcie Davies con's him into a blind date with her grand-niece Harper who owns the local bar. This ends up with her helping him getting a in with the management when she orders some liquor from their distributor. The case involves assaults, murder and druggings at a resort island.
