I liked the pair about Daughter of Mine getting freed and dropped off on her homeworld.

Paul Cornell should've been showrunner.

"The Tourist" is somehow everything I'm looking for in a short story.

"The Simple Things" felt so cheap and unearned.

"Hate is just fear out loud."

See? Even Steven Moffatt knows what he's doing!

Can we PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD stop letting Chibnall write 13??? Give her over to Juno Dawson, or Uma McCormack, or Steve Cole! Those novels were good as I recall! Interesting, exploring the Doctor in novel yet familiar ways, getting me on board with 13 as a concept.

And I think the closest we're getting to blorbo is fuckin Things She Thought While Falling

So far, the boys are doing what they do best.

Moffat, writing poignant metafiction with quotable truisms like, "Hate is just fear out loud."

RTD coming up with epic, ridiculous, and utterly memorable proper nouns: the Deathsmiths of Goth; the Battle of Rodan's Wedding; Yarvelling's Church.

And credit where it's due, the Chibnall-penned lockdown message is one of the highlights of his era.
