Bit depressing and the protagonist is very jarring and his actions and thoughts don’t make sense at times but this makes you think of us as humans and how sometimes our feelings and behaviours are strange despite us not wanting to feel or act that way
It’s a very human novel, the writing style is easy to get into but just a bit depressing
