Status Updates From The Thunder Heist (Twisted ...

I am well past half way and the story is a little underwhelming. The character work is good but just more heisting.

I love this story! Didn’t think I was going to vibe with pirate-trope but it is a fresh take, for sure.

The main character is superbly written. Witty, funny, felt like I knew here after a couple of chapters. Supporting characters are equally brilliant, for the most part.

I do however find the combat sequences a tad clunky, like I can feel the characters setting up inbetween swings. Little awkward!
