Oh wow, I thought I was being mean to Pericles when I said he was just as bad as Philippe, but oh boy, was I right! He never even saw his daughter past infancy and he imagines her face while having sex with a prostitute... I mean, 'overlaying' his wife's face over that of the prostitute is fine, and understandable; but his daughter? Okay, so every parent in this damned story suck horribly. Good to know.
