Maybe it was the book more than the narrator, but the characters just felt a bit off from how I know them.

An enjoyable mystery and adventure. The daughter was kind of insufferable though. Not as funny as I usually find these. I listened to the audio for this one, and found that the narrator gave some of the characters different personalities than I did. Like, I know Zav is bossy and haughty, but I see him as more sly and playful than oblivious and controlling these days.

I waited 6 books for them to get together just to... hate it! dude still an asshole thinking dragons are just the best blah blah, shit getting old. you been to earth for a hot minute learn the basics dude..


and we must mate every 5 seconds... and fort just to be so bland? Lindsay writes great books but the spiciness describing sex is just not there ....
