These characters are trying to kill me. I swear. I’ve read a lot of homonormative books and this one having actual legitimate consequences and homophobia is actually quite jarring!!! I’m happy the main characters are emotional, a lot of books they’re both so inward but here they’re both not afraid to express how they’re feeling
