Status Updates From The Nightwalkers

The latter half of the book keeps galloping along.

Mahoy, my man, you are an idiot. Couldn't you see you were being pumped for information? You're going to regret that conversation later. I'd bet on it.

Plot thickens. About time we started getting some answers on just why vampires are hanging around the family cemetery...One minor goof between "bare" and "bear" in Watkin's story, but otherwise, I definitely love the detail there!

Took a VERY extended break from this, and came back to it. It wasn't grabbing me before, and I don't know why. But it's easier going now.

I am progressing slowly through this, though I'm not sure why that is. Events in the book keep rolling along.

Mahoy gets called on the carpet and all I can think is "Finally!"

...I really hope that using "grizzly" is a hint from the author about the killers. Otherwise, it's distracting, since I think the author meant "grisly."

Oh, man...these cops...I can't even...

Got interrupted reading this and had to skim the pages I'd read before. So far, the kids' names - real and gang names - amused me, as did the actual name of their gang. Some of the scenes are pretty easy to picture, too.
