It was too unbelievably juvenile. It was like watching a bad 90s sitcom on The Disney Channel. Very over the top and farcical.
The graphic treatment to the text became very tiresome. Maybe it works for Geronimo Stilton because 1) it's done in full color, and 2) it isn't overused.
