Very nice mixture of rpg and fantasy sometimes it’s a bit odd in these books but this one has a great mixture

What baffles me the most in this series is that either the MC lacks empathy, or the author is blind to it. You see, there is a passage in the story where the MC meets a helpless poppy. Instead of remembering that not too long ago, almost a few months ago, he himself was in the same situation and the expectation that his master had of him was unreasonable and stupid, he goes about doing and expecting the same thing.

The thing that I hate about this series is that when the author gives a solution to the main character, but the character ignores it -because it removes the determination or drama- then it brings only frustration to the readers.
For example: in the second book we learned that the MC has three books in possession-History, class, and herbology. Yet, the MC gets angry for his ignorance and promise himself to do better.
