Issue #348 -
Struggling against Bruce has Hulk in a bad mood.

We learn how Creel returned to this dimension before he begins wrecking Mr B’s casino.

Hulk worries about changing in the middle of a fight but faces the villain anyway.
To save his cover, Hulk leads Creel away.

Creel briefly has the upper hand but Hulk is smart and savage.
When Creel absorbs concrete, Hulk smashes him to pieces!

Issue #347 -
We see how the threat of Mr. Fixit calms a crazed gambling addict.

Anthony Gold was run out of his old town and wants to move in on Las Vegas.
Mr B is not having any of his business.

Not liking that answer, Gold traps Mr B... Who calls Mr Fixit.

Of course, the Grey Hulk makes a dramatic entrance!
I am so excited to read this era of the Hulk.

Not finished, Gold hires Crusher Creel…

Mostly a recap issue.
There is a committee hearing about the gamma bomb that exploded in Middletown.

Clay Quatermain, Betty Banner and Rick Jones make statements, which are also broadcasted to the public.
Clay's speech impresses the people so much, they want him for President!

His popularity is what saves Clay from committee punishment. Though, Fury is not done with him.

Betty and Rick agree to stick together.

Issue #345 -
Reeling from Betty’s news, the group finally make it to the destroyed Yuma base.

Leader’s grand plan comes to fruition in the small town of Middletown.

He threatens a whole town, just so Hulk can listen to his recorded rant and battle his minions.

After Hulk beats Redeemer & Rock, Leader activates a force field around the town and... blows up the Gamma bomb!

Issue #344 -
Bruce and Betty, reunited!

Betty, feeling like something is missing, wants to talk to… Hulk!

Meanwhile, Leader’s minions, Redeemer and the Rock, destroy a military base to steal gamma bombs!

Betty tries convincing Hulk to accept Bruce is a part of him.
Frustrated at the constant denials, Betty breaks down and tells the behemoth she’s pregnant!

Hulk holds Betty in his arms.

Issue #343 -
Betty is being chased by giant golden armoured suits!

Bruce wanted to be the hero, the one to save his wife.
Sadly, sunset quickly comes and Hulk returns.

We go through brief recaps of Craig Saunders & Samuel LaRoquette’s respective lives before we’re shown what the Leader has turned them into…

Rick gets mad at Hulk seemingly not caring for Bruce’s wife.
Turns out, Hulk does care.

Issue #342 -
Leader records a message for Hulk.

Half-Life, determined to prove himself, almost wins!

That is until Hulk, weak after Half-Life stole most of his strength, tells his enemy that the rest of his life will be spent always afraid he’ll return to his false life.

Terrified of that, Half-Life… let himself go?

Which basically means Hulk got his strength back and Half-Life is no more.

Issue #340 -
On their way to Dallas, the X-Men kind of crash into Hulk.

Hulk was just trying to get something to eat when soldiers start a fire.

Just as Clay says, when two super-powered beings get together, there seems to be some compulsion to fight!

Wolverine really didn’t want to but he and Hulk go at it.
Clay interrupts and reminds them they have better things to do.

Really liked the art.
