Still liking the book. I just realized the similarities between the countries and their based on. Karthago and Carthage. Volscii. Crazy work. But fun. I love Lucian and he is a very interesting character. I’m excited for Hyperion though I LOVE her.

Just like I remember it. I really like the introduction. It gives a smooth introduction to both dragons, how the trials start, and the conflicts Emilia’s going to deal with. She makes common tropes that main characters have; unique hair, pale skin, bookish, alone, different, seem actually natural and like a character. Her and Alex’s relationship is really sweet and I love her dragon Chara.
