Recently picked up the English version, so the first 4 volumes will be in flipped format. This is gonna feel weird 😂 Will be nice reading this again though, it's one of my favorite manga series of all time, but my German edition is quite literally falling apart.

Okay, the "comedic violence" is something I haven't missed in my manga... Oh how funny, she got so mad over this minor thing that she completely assaulted him, leaving him battered and bruised.

Time for a re-read! I can't for the life if me remember when I read it the first time. Age 15-18, perhaps...? I can already tell my understanding of German has improved A LOT since then. Back then I think I only grasped basic context. Now I understand most words, it's rare that something is foreign enough that it hinders my reading experience it I don't look it up. Yay progress.

I only very vaguely remember watching this anime in the early 2000s, so why not revisit it a couple decades later!
