I just started this book and I've written a long list of rant!! God abeg. 😭

Nope. DNF for now. Kind of over this theme of Nigerian authors packing so much trauma into the lives of their FMCs.

I felt like I was closing the door on a shouting row when I dnf’ed this book. A graphic rape scene in the first chapter, followed by her father whipping her? No thanks. Not in the mood for trauma porn today. Can Nigerian authors write happy stories for god’s sake?!

My chest hurts she needs a GUN
