I love the breakdown for each recipe. When you are fulling moving to the next step of the recipe the title is bonded and colored to stand out. So you know you’re going from dough to meringue.

I picked a couple recipes to try, can’t wait to update!

So far I'm not super impressed. It might just be the wrong time for me with this book, but I feel like in an effort to be exact and specific, the author comes across sort of pretentious to me? And there's not enough pictures so far, which, judge me if you want, but I personally want lots of pictures.

I love all the “baking gems” and technique advice from ingredient recommendations to baking supplies. I just wish there were more photos, at least one for each cookie, especially ones I’m unfamiliar with.
