To the determinism theme, the longer the story goes the more Cara reverts to her natural state as a child of Ash. In the end, the theme of this story is you cannot escape fate.

Feels like we’re careening into an inevitability. Cara vs. Adranik. In Earth 175, it ends with Adranik’s death. In many other earths it ends with Cara’s death. But we don’t see those earths. The only other earth we’re familiar with them in is 175. And this book is deterministic.

Man it’s fuck Caramenta everyday and twice in Sunday.

Lol. Earth 0 Cara is an asshole. Thank God we’re not in her POV. Dumbass.

Wait wait wait. Is Dell tracking this bitch??

Commercial traversing?? Is he tryna drive up the death toll in earth 0 like he did I earth 175??

Esther and Mr. Cheeks. Oh God. I hate the inevitability of the worlds. Is Earth 2 me only able to live a life similar to mine? That feels hopeless? And ass! Johnson’s depictions of alternate worlds show similar general lives across the worlds with a few deviations. I don’t know if I like that. It feels deterministic. I want variety in the Earths! But I understand that may be difficult to write around. Lol.

Bad news. We have Nik Nik drama in earth 0. In the past we’ve been reminiscing on Cara’s experiences from her home Earth 22 where she was Nik Nik’s paramour. That’s not the case here. I’m apprehensive.

Sigh. Dell is back and she just sounds annoying. Lol. Girl shit was popping in your absence.

Part 2 is action filled. Earth 175 is a very different world. But it reveals something we don’t know about Earth 0. Nik Nik’s brother is alive and running the Eldridge program. We don’t learn much about Dell/Cara but we do see Cara in an alternate universe, different from the ones we’re used to. I’ve enjoyed the fast paced action sequences of this part. New Q: what’s Adam Bosch’s role in this story?

Aw fuck. Jumping into this one with death.

Part 1 done. I’m intrigued about 175 and Dell’s relationship to Cara.

What? There’s a poor Dell? An Ashtown Dell?? Uh oh.

I’m also intrigued about Dell. Since we’re not in her POV, I can only guess whether Cara’s assumptions of her are true or misconceptions.

Okay. Story is drawing me in. After quickly guessing that Cara is clearly an imposter from another planet since she needs her journals to access memories called upon by her sister, I quickly realized this isn’t the main crux of the story. Now I don’t know where it’s going to. I’m apprehensive about Earth 175. I’m also interested in what happened to Star. I’m intrigued overall. Good tale.

First guess passed. She’s a faker from another world. Real world Cara has kpeffed.
