Status Updates From Santa's Naughty Helpers

Story #4: Want Me, Santa by Ashlynn Mills - Santa and His "Little Elf" - Gray manages to keep his office a bit of a sexually charged environment, having intimate relationships with various employees. He finds an unexpected HFN with the other Michael in the office after a little gift snafu. This Michael becomes his "little elf" and it is hot, even if a little awkward on occasion. This isn't the end for these two.

Story #3: Stoney's Gift by EC Land - Heartbreak and Recovery - I didn't do the recommended pre-reading list but Land did a good job of providing enough info on past events that I never felt over my head. I really liked Stoney & Rachel's story. There is a lot of heartbreak that caused a misty substance to develop. I loved how Stoney owned his role in everything. I also liked that he truly wanted to fix it.

I'm a tad disappointed that the first two stories in this collection are warm-ups to bigger stories, ending in cliffhangers. I had anticipated that these were completed novellas when I started reading. Don't get me wrong, I liked them. I just wanted / expected a different kind of ending.

Story #2: Naughty List by Elizabeth Knox - Way Too Short - I like where the story started but it is WAY too short. I appreciate the author's note that the story is TBC but I was anticipating a completed novella. It does come w a trigger warning but they were past events w/in the series that were mostly glossed over & not as bad as anticipated. There's more potential to be tapped for Ice & Sunny... in another book

Story #1: Under the Mistletoe by KC Stone - Cliffhanger w Flair - I mostly liked the story. After a few chaps, it became obvious this was part of a series as there are unexplained references to club problems (I had to do research to find out it is the Lawless MC). It actually took a few pgs for me to realize the club was an MC versus the BDSM kind. This turned out to be a cliffhanger... but it does hang w flair!
