i know my work brain is still on because i’m reading this and going “wow the permission process to write this manuscript must’ve been a huge damn hassle”

The author is so cute. She said,
“ I do not allow roadkill to make me cry anymore.”
I was thinking,
“Me neither I realize- now that she mentions it.”
Christie supplies us with reason’s she has cried, and the different intensities of her crying spells.

This is an interesting subject, and it’s easy to marginalized/talk back to. I also love how the book is set up. There’s something about white space that makes it so alluring to read.
