OMG. The girl from GFS meets the one from the UPR and to say that sparks fly is putting it mildly. Plus the GFS catches the 4 protagonists at the border and it's just like how the white police treat black drivers. Scary.

Things are looking scary for Jews in the GFS. Their political protecter has died, and antisemitism is ramping up; both graffiti and physical attacks. How can the gay Orthodox protagonist escape to the UPR?

A fascinating, well-written, novel on a very timely subject. I'm already invested in the three teenage protagonists' stories and am eager to read more.
