Really enjoying this one so far. Not what I expected after reading the reviews. A slow burn coming of age. Lots of angst.

I'm not even that far in, and this is pissing me off. I might keep reading it just because none of my other holds at the library are ready yet & I've read all the stuff I own, but I'm anticipating not finishing this. Maybe I just have really specific taste or something. Idk

I have a feeling I won't like this one. The physicality is confusing. I can't picture any of it without pausing to think really hard about how the descriptions impact the setting and character's bodies. They aren't structured in a way that feels natural.
