WHYYYYY does Elizabeth Mortimer Percy (aka Kate Percy in the plays) have to be such a brat in this? I hate her characterization.

This is lurching between great and shockingly horrible in an "Oh God why would you write that" way (of course we needed more homophobic treatment of Richard II). I'm also not sure I'm liking how Elizabeth Mortimer Percy is being characterized. But honestly, Hotspur is done really well, with ADHD, chronic anxiety, and PTSD, my favorite way of playing him, so I'm actually enjoying it despite some bad spots.

Hooooooo boy I'm only two chapters in and there's a lot to unpack here already. Needless to say I'm not a huge fan of Gaunt, Richard, and Henry bullying young Harry.
