Summary- Lousiana's granny drags her out of Florida and into Georgia because of a curse of sundering the family. Lousiana meets many friends like a boy named Burke. Granny leaves Lousiana at the motel with a letter explaining her life is a lie. Louisiana runs into the woods and begins crying until Burke's family takes her in and shows her care and showers her with sweet treats. In the end she was livingwithoutacurse.

Summary- Lousiana is dragged out to Georgia by her granny because of the "curse" put on her family. They arrive at a motel and Louisiana meets a boy named Burke. Her granny leaves her at a motel there and a letter explaining her whole life is a lie. Louisiana runs into the forest and sobs before Burke's family finds her. They make her feel cared for and bake lots of treats. Granny's journey remains mysterious.

Supporting characters- A supporting character is Burke, his mom, his daddy, and his grandpa. They kindly take Louisiana in after finding her in the woods, wailing like a mountain lion. Burke helps Louisiana out and takes her to the church when she asks. when Louisiana had stress from her Granny, Burke still had decided to help her and ask if she wanted anything from the vending machine, also retrieving it for her.
