Status Updates From Call of Magic

The last couple of novellas are mehh.. they aren't really a full fledged story and they don't explain the world enough for it to make sense to someone not familiar with the writing at all. It is super frustrating and does not want me to pick up their regular books at all.

Another novella done. This was set in a handmaiden world meets paranormal, with a witch and a shifter escaping from a city. It was interesting and yet I didn't care enough about the characters or the plot. A particular turn off was referencing the elbow shake from the pandemic. Nope not ready to read about the end of civilization due the pandemic yet

That first novella took so long to set up the story I thought it was going to be longer and then just like that, one sex scene later it ended.

I thought these were novellas, but these seem to be much longer then that. 38 stories in all. I can't wait but I might have to pace myself.

I got this for Zuri and Kushim's story but I hope to discover some other fun stories along the way.

Shadows of Opus. The premise is ok, but I don't feel anything foe the characters so I won't look ip further series books.

My suspension of disbelief has catapulted to nil. Why would she agree to a date it completely out of character for a woman in her situation 1 star DNF for An awakening.

Clearly an awakening was written by a man because no woman would show a stranger home she suspicious of where she lives. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Next up ( i choose at random) An awakening Joe Quackenboss. That’s an awful surname btw. 😬

Yes go hone with the odd guy whom your suspicious off bc he shows up at your place of employment asking specifically for you even though you’ve been purposefully unfriendly to.

Ancient & Immortal is a cute story even though I’m not a fan children or 🤰 in my fiction. 5 stars

I purchased this book for $.99 for K.N Banet's short story. I'm not familiar with any other authors with the exception of Avery Song & she's made my do not buy list bc she sucks so bad.
