I’ve been reading Emezi for a few years and this book is such great context for her background, the cannon she’s read and is considering, and some of the deep raw shit she went through to get where she is. A cool look at Igbo Ontology, Nigerian Geography and social Commentary/culture, with some great nuggets for writers.
