Status Updates From New Animal

i have seen the word "imagine" way too many times i feel my eye twitching
"imagine doing this" "imagine being that" (the latest; "imagine being a fighting fish and having nothing to fight")

i just read a paragraph where she's in the shower, she wraps a towel around her and walks to the window, and then gets her period? and runs to the bathroom? WEREN'T WE ALREADY IN THE BATHROOM???

a little aggravated so far by how much I'm being told things instead of shown them. like, okay, you're super close with your mom, except before she dies I'm not getting any of the relationship I'm being told you guys have ... not a fan so far
