Status Updates From Naked Lunch

interesting !! a bit hard to follow but i’m focusing mainly on what images pop into my head from what’s been read and trying to feel what is being said rather than truly understand it (if that makes sense)

Currently still rather confused with what is going on, but less than before. After I stopped interpreting the text as one connected, chronological plot but rather a series of sketches and episodes (as recommended by a user on Reddit), it has started to become more understandable as I read on.

Well . I am going to at least finish the "restored text" part but I may not have it in me to get through all the extras. Not entirely sure what the point of this book is besides to be as disgusting and depraved and repulsive as possible but I do have an inherent respect for it because of the fantastic david cronenburg "adaptation" which is I would say an all-timer film.
