Status Updates From The Wide, Wide World

Every character is crying again. So. Much. Crying. And it’s not like one or two sentences describing the crying. It’s more like several pages of crying and weeping and moping around and then crying some more.

After half a book full of characters incessantly crying… Finally, nobody is crying. The last few chapters have all been set at Christmas time! 🎄

All they do in this book is cry and cry and cry in every other scene! It’s ridiculous.

Only a few chapters in and everyone has been crying and weeping uncontrollably on every other page. So much crying. 🙄 It’s getting repetitive and annoying.

Nothing can convince me against eventually buying the gorgeous cover lamplighter designed… but for now I found this classic on audiobook for free and decided to give it a listen

Audiobooks seem to be the only way I get any reading done these days 😔
