I was vibing with this but then this ending infodump is killing me ugh my least favorite method of exposition

“Her words were meant to comfort, but her voice was the sound of the dead scratching against dry earth, trying to claw their way out of their graves. The effect was similar to being licked by a snarling lion instead of a housecat. It was better to be devoured outright.”

That's one way to describe a monster's voice

Oh so they're really out here huffing lifeblood like a drug to see visions. The lifeblood that they harvested from their human queen 👁️👄👁️

Interesting world so far!
