Now… why would the powers that be decide that Eva, the Puerto Rican girl, should be voiced with a jersey accent in this book instead of the Puerto Rican accent she had in the previous book

I actually cannot get past her sounding like Louis Griffin, gonna have to only read and not listen to this one I fear

I now know that if it weren't for the audio edition of the first two in this series, I probably wouldn't have finished them. The last 1/4 of each book is where the action spikes and I JUST WANT TO KNOW. ugh.

It is sometimes eerie how close to home a book and its events hit to home, even years after it has been written.
