SPOILERS: okay this betrayal makes absolutely no sense. ekon already risked his sons of the six promotion for koffi at the start of the story, and he didn’t even know her. here we are now, when he’s in love with her, AND after he’s found out the supposed horrible beast he’s hunting is actually a human who’s never hurt anyone, he actually manages to betray them. it doesn’t match his character imo
