There is not a single book in existence that needs almost 30-page chapters. Absolutely no need for chapters to be that long.
The font size/spacing of this book is slightly larger than normal which contributes slightly to the chapter length. But only a partial excuse.

Brendan is cringy and obnoxious AF. He’s love bombing and I would not be surprised to find out that he paid to get them trapped on the Ferris wheel & purposely stranded them after missing the ferry. He considers cheesy romance flicks as proof love exists. Completely ignores Annie’s opinion that the grand gestures are creepy and that more than love makes a relationship. Send him to therapy. JFC
