Yet she doesnt agree to sleep training (because it didnt work for her most probably). And the concept of letting kids fall asleep and wake up when they feel like it is insane. kids and teenagers are notorious for making bad decisions. but ok

3. saying there are no reason to give toys to kids and they should play with stuff around the house. yeah hopefully they dont find the borax bottle or my office suit. I should give my child my work laptop very sound advice. is there the death of nuance? yes kids should be involved in the REAL WORLD but also have toys of their own, just not a full house of them

2. She said kids were safe in big communities under the watchful eye of other adults and kids. have you seen what kids make each other do?! they are not good babysitters. and usually at a huge easter table EVERYONE thinks someone else is watching the kids yet no one does

i can debunk almost everything she said until now
1. she said kids were raised in communities with uncles aunts grandparents etc and now parents have to parent alone and they are burnt out. in my personal experience i haven’t heard 1 parent accept ANY piece of advice from elders, usually pushing grandparents away for not parenting the way they would like. So they want babysitters but not the discomfort of comunity
