Busy Little Bees by Polenth Blake
This scifi concept was a bit hard to grasp at first. Once it became clear I did like the little heist like plot. I also liked the puns that came with the clear symbolism. However, there’s a lot of unanswered questions with this world building and while it’s intentional I’m not sure it’s for me. It is a concept that I have seen before and do not particularly gravitate towards.

Not to die by Rosiee Thor
I really liked her book fire becomes her and this short story was only a reminder to read Thor’s other works. This was a really fun concept, good writing and lively characters even with how short the story was.

Seams of iron by Adriana C Grigore
This plot is really amazing and the magic in this is very interesting. I also liked some of the quotes. While parts of the writing are beautiful, the amount of similes is a bit overwhelming especially in the beginning.
“When she was little, she’d wanted to know big things about the world. Now that she was a bit bigger, Erin found herself wanting to know little things.”

Shift by Mika Stanard
I loved this one as well! It was not at all subtle but that’s okay with me because it was really cute and wonderful. I would happily read a longer version of this.
