It’s a pretty interesting dynamic and tug of war for our young protagonist - does he side with the old and mysterious mage who sided with the evil-but-may-not-be evil faction or the pretty lady who is trying to keep him on the path to righteousness?

It’s a fun origin story so far. I have a feeling the ending is deliberately going to set up the next part at the Academy.

I like how it’s speedrunning the origin story.
