What I’ve gotten out of the book so far is that David Lee Roth was an attention seeker who didn’t have much musical skill, where as Eddie was a geek with a wizard like mind when it came to music. I wish I could be like Eddie, where I can get lost in the creation and concepts of guitar and music like a kid - but at the same time, I’d hate to be In a band with either David or Eddie.
