Status Updates From Inseparable

To be honest, de Beauvoir’s works scare me - I hear she is what many consider the “grandmother of French existentialism and second wave feminism” per Atwood. She speaks very fondly about her but it’s a little intimidating

there is something comforting about the fact that characters set 100 years ago can feel so relatable. the female existentialism is put into words so perfectly by de Beauvoir. enjoying this recommendation so far.
